As for me, the location was great and absolutely perfect, next to shop next door, and a good Indian restaurant. Outstandingly accommodating staff, gave a lot of information. The food was fab, with a great selection of options.  

It was an excellent and perfect location for us, near centre of Thirsk, the railway station and Thirsk and good value for money. Also, World of James Herriot Museum was 3 km away from the hotel. Overall 

The hotel provides a GOOD service. It offers large rooms with comfortable beds, and every member of the staff was extremely friendly and excellent.

The room was reasonably large and well-equipped in general, with comfortable beds. The location was great and absolutely perfect, in event of fire!

The guest room is functional and has coffee and soundproof windows. I have not had such a very clean bed at any other accommodation. The location is particularly good and beautiful as it's close enough to historical places as well as the train station in Thirsk. 

The staff were affable, the location was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the property because it was near to the train station.

Stunning central location short walk to shop next door. Besides, Thirsk Museum was 3 km away from the venue. We really enjoyed rooms for toiletries or the towels.

There was a nice garden, particularly good and stunning setting near to the train station. Some of the staff members were very nice helpful and efficient. The room was great value and large with toiletries, a twin 

We had a fantastic stay at the Vale Of York. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the train station and racecourse. The landlady and landlord were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and drink prices were unbeatable, 

It took only 5 minutes to walk to Thirsk bus stop. Dinner and breakfast food was appetising.

We were here for one night. Thoroughly enjoyed the great and excellent breakfast by the chef who was Brill. Set near to a train station, which helped to explore Thirsk.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was recently decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Great location. Clean room. Comfy bed. Good priced drinks.

Nothing to dislike.
